AISLE POLICY
As a courtesy to others, guests are asked to refrain from walking
in aisles during player at-bats.
ALCOHOL
The San Diego Padres desire that all guests have a memorable
experience at PETCO Park. For those inclined to enjoy
alcoholic beverages, we are pleased to make them available at
concession locations throughout the ballpark. Guests who
consume alcohol are expected to do so in a responsible manner.
With the purchase of any alcoholic beverage:
| |
| • |
|
Guests must present a valid ID (state-issued drivers license, state ID, military ID or passport). Guests appearing younger than 30 years old will be asked to present proper identification. |
 |
| • |
|
Guests are limited to two alcoholic beverages per transaction. |
 |
| • |
|
Sales of alcoholic beverages cease at the end of the seventh inning. |
|
The Padres and Sportservice reserve the right to alter these
policies at any time.
California liquor regulations prohibit guests from bringing
alcoholic beverages into PETCO Park. Alcohol may not be
removed from the ballpark.
ALL-STAR BALLOTING
The San Diego Padres encourage all guests to participate in the
All-Star balloting process, which typically runs from early May
through the end of June. During the All-Star balloting process,
guests may pick up All-Star ballots at any Guest Services
Center or ballot box throughout PETCO Park.
This year’s All-Star Game will be played on July 15, 2008 at
Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York.
ANIMALS/PETS
Certified service animals or service animals in training are
welcome at PETCO Park. On select promotional dates, such as
Dog Days of Summer, pets are permitted into certain areas of
the ballpark. Exceptions will be made at the discretion and
authorization of the San Diego Padres.
ATMs
There are six San Diego County Credit Union ATMs at
PETCO Park. Locations are outside the Home Plate and
Gaslamp Gates and at Sections 105,114, 135 and 301.
AUTOGRAPHS
Before each Saturday home game,
one or two players will sign
autographs following batting
practice. Saturday Signings begin
about 75 minutes before game
time and last 30 minutes.
In addition to Saturday Signings,
San Diego Padres players often
sign autographs before each game when time and Major
League regulations permit. As each player’s routine will vary,
autograph opportunities before games cannot be guaranteed.
There are several areas near the playing field that facilitate
obtaining autographs, including the seating sections near the
Padres and visiting team dugouts. Guests seeking autographs
are asked to comply with all safety instructions provided by
Guest Services Representatives.
Guests with disabilities have
the opportunity to be close
to their favorite Major
Leaguers through a special
access program. Designated
for all guests with
disabilities, including guests
in wheelchairs, this program
allows a limited number of
guests to enjoy batting
practice from a designated
location. Because of limited
availability, guests are asked
to make reservations before
arriving at PETCO Park. Individuals wishing to make a
reservation should contact PETCO Park Guest Services at
(619) 795-5304. All reservations will be handled on a first
come, first served basis.
The San Diego Padres are unable to guarantee autographs
during a batting practice visit.
Throughout the year, San Diego Padres players sign hundreds
of items that are donated to local charities, supporting
fundraising purposes. Because of these numerous requests, we
are unable to facilitate player autograph sessions on an
individual basis.
Information on upcoming autograph sessions is available by
calling the San Diego Padres Player Appearance Hotline at
(619) 795-5275.
In addition, autographed merchandise is available through the
San Diego Padres Foundation On-line Auction. Guests may
visit the Padres website at padres.com for more information.
Items change weekly throughout the season, so guests are
encouraged to visit the site frequently.
Guests may also write to specific players requesting an
autograph; however, each player has his own practice of
responding to and fulfilling guests’ autograph requests. There is
no guarantee that items sent to a particular player will be
returned. If a guest wishes to attempt to obtain an autograph
through this method, it is recommended that they include a
self-addressed, postage-paid envelope or box with the request.
For a more timely response, we recommend guests seek
autographs in person versus writing the player.
AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED)
PETCO Park is equipped with numerous Automated External
Defibrillator units. These AED units may be used by any staff
member or the general public in case of emergency. The units
will direct the user via audio alerts on how to utilize the device.
Each unit comes stocked with both adult and pediatric peel and
stick pads.
AED units may be found in the following public locations:
- Auditorium
- Club 19
- Hall of Fame Bar and Grill
- Omni Hotel Premier Club
- PCL Lounge
- Upper Deck Tower Loft Lobbies
- Westwinds
AUTOMATED WILL CALL
Guests can avoid traditional Will Call with our automated Will
Call feature. Guests who purchase tickets by telephone or
through the Internet are given the opportunity to swipe the
purchasing credit card and receive their tickets at designated
turnstiles throughout PETCO Park.
AUTOMOBILE ASSISTANCE
Auto Club roadside services are available during and after Padres
home games at PETCO Park. The following services are
provided free to Padres guests (parked in PETCO Park parking

with metal frames are not permitted into PETCO Park.

or email events@padres.com. PETCO Park event brochures
and information are available at any Guest Services Center.
BALL RETRIEVERS
For the general safety of PETCO Park guests, ball retrievers of
any kind are not permitted into the ballpark.
BANNERS AND SIGNS
The San Diego Padres welcome fan support as demonstrated
by homemade signs and banners. To ensure that these articles
do not distract others, we ask that guests adhere to the
following guidelines:
The Padres request that banners not be placed in the direct
sightline of the batter; hung in any area of the playing field,
over seat backs or protective railings; infringe on the sightlines
of other guests; obstruct any advertising signage; be larger than
4 feet by 8 feet in size; or be commercial, political or obscene
in nature.
The Padres reserve the right and have sole discretion to permit
or remove any sign or banner from the ballpark at any time.
BATS AND BROOMS
For the general safety of PETCO Park guests, bats, brooms,
wooden sticks, or rods of any sort are not permitted into

BRICK PROJECTS
Palm Court Plaza: More than 11,900 bricks were installed in
Palm Court Plaza before Opening Day 2004 as part of the San
Diego Ballpark Brick Program. This program raised funds for
ballpark construction, with nearly $250,000 benefiting the San
Diego Padres Foundation for Children.
Tony Gwynn Plaza: Nearly 2,000 bricks were installed in the
Park at the Park, surrounding a beautiful bronze statue of Mr.
Padre, Tony Gwynn, in 2007. The plaza and statue were
dedicated July 21, 2007, celebrating Tony’s induction into the
National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Guests wishing to locate a specific brick in either plaza area
should visit the Padres website at padres.com.

HOME RUNS
The audio and video graphics celebrating Padres players’ home
runs at PETCO Park have a distinct military and nautical
flavor. The sound of a ship’s horn is the actual recording of the
Navy’s USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76), a nuclear aircraft
carrier, home ported in San Diego. To accompany the horn, an
animation of the ship flashes on the FriarVision and a
fireworks spectacular blast from the batter’s eye porch.

Concourse), adjacent to Section 108 for assistance.

must stay alert as home run balls may be headed in their
direction. The fourth floor hosts the Padres Hall of Fame Bar
